HighLevel's official "eject to a new agency" can only be started by the agency that owns your sub-account. When they're slow, in a dispute, or simply won't do it, your account isn't really yours. Super Migrator gets your assets out with nothing but a login.
HighLevel does have a sanctioned way to leave an agency — "Eject Sub-Account to a New Agency." It's a real feature, and for an amicable split it works fine. Here's exactly what it involves, straight from HighLevel's own documentation.
The eject is started from Agency Level → Sub-Accounts → Manage Client → Actions → Transfer Sub-account. Logged into your own sub-account, there is no button for this. Only the agency can begin it.
The final step asks for the agency owner's password. So even a cooperative agency has to actively sit down and push it through — it can't happen without them.
A nominated user is emailed a sign-up link and becomes the new agency owner on the $97/month plan. There's a cost and a commitment waiting on the other side of the transfer.
Per HighLevel's docs, multi-location agencies can't be transferred this way at all — so for plenty of accounts the official path simply isn't available.
Phone numbers, A2P registration, third-party integrations and SaaS settings don't come across in the eject. You're rebuilding those either way.
